Taking my first baby steps into the wonderful world of Bento. I have started to plan my eating better! I was brave last night and took an adventure down into the the deepest depths of my freezer and I found a long lost bag of scollops which I had forgotten I had. I wasnt sure if they were still OK as there was so much ice in the bag I couldnt tell if there were any scollops there. This morning, I found a dozen scollops were left!!!

For my faux bento box #2

I made myself the following (sorry no photos still dont know how to down load thumb nails sized photos - if anyone can give me advise please leave a commnet):
4 pan seared scollops in butter and lemon sauce severed with chilli jam dipping sauce (I use a pre-made malaysian brand)
[I heat a pan up with some ground nut oil, once the pan is really hot I throw in the scollops and cook them for about 1 min each side and then add a few lumps of butter for flavour once that melts and gets slightly smokey I squeeze lemon juice over them - this give them a lovely carmelized flavour to the scollops]
Egg fried rice with mange tout and baby onions with some japanese rice seasoning sprinkled on top.
And a small slice of raspberry cheesecake
